About the Role

Recognised as "by far the best firm in the energy sector" with a network of 76 international offices, our dynamic team is highly rated and continuing to expand. We have a very collegiate team known for an efficient, friendly and responsive working style.

As a member of the Energy, Projects and Construction team in Singapore you will work very closely with the Partners in the team and provide support on a broad range of complex, high value, and high profile transactions and projects. The team advises top tier clients within the oil and gas sector (upstream midstream and downstream), LNG Sector, Power and Renewables Sector, Energy Transition and Infrastructure Sector across APAC and the wider international region. 

About You

•    Preferred – Qualification as Advocate & Solicitor (or equivalent) in England & Wales, Singapore or other Commonwealth jurisdiction
•    Relevant legal training and qualification
•    Strong interest in the Energy sector (oil & gas, renewables, petrochemicals) and Infrastructure sectors
•    Experience in the Energy and Infrastructure sectors, preferably in Asia-Pacific, will be an advantage  
•    Familiarity with construction, PPP and concession documentation, will be an advantage  
•    NQ-2 PQE  
Skills & Knowledge
•    Excellent analytical skills & sound judgment
•    Excellent drafting skills
•    Ability to translate legal theory into practical advice
•    Works effectively with others in a team and at all levels and across all functions
•    Good interpersonal and communication skills
•    Language skills other than English an advantage
