This is an excellent opportunity to join a future facing, global firm, within a high performing Defendant Personal Injury team, based in Sheffield.

About the role

Our Defendant Personal Injury and Products team has a strong reputation and particular expertise in complex Employer Liability and Public Liability matters, high value accident and industrial disease claims, large-scale litigation, multi-party actions and group actions. Its clients include government, large self-insured corporates, insurers and international organisations (non-governmental and commercial).
The team have been involved in many of the most high profile group actions in the UK and also have significant experience of Product Liability matters, particularly in the consumer and industrial sectors.
We are looking for a junior associate or NQ to join the team, working across the work portfolio, particularly on a number of group actions currently.

About you

We are looking for an NQ or junior associate, either with seats in or current practice area experience across Defendant Personal Injury. Previous affinity with group actions would be beneficial, alongside an interest in building a career in the Defendant Personal Injury market.
You will be well-organised and proactive, and have excellent written and oral communication skills. A strong academic ability, alongside a good work ethic will be important and the ability to perform under pressure, to tight deadlines.
