Are you looking for an opportunity within a sector driven, technology focused law firm? We are looking for an ambitious and dedicated Business Development Administrator to join us at this exciting time.
About the role  This role is designed to support the integrated global Practice & Sector Business Development & Marketing group with a focus on the firm’s Programme for technology start-ups, CMS equIP.
CMS equIP is a curated accelerator seeking to attract the best startups as clients, early in their life cycle. equIP was born in 2015 to challenge the way law firms work with startups and the Programme has attracted more than 50 members in the UK in that time. Members of the Programme have access to sector-focused legal advice at special discounted rates, fixed fee services, introductions to relevant industry players and exclusive events and networking opportunities. We are looking for an ambitious and dedicated Business Development Administrator who can help with the day-to-day running of CMS equIP, both in the UK and as it expands internationally.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Business planning and budgeting
- Overseeing the existing membership portfolio and onboarding potential new members
- Managing internal stakeholders and responding to international queries 
- Internal and external communications PR and social media
- Event planning
- Acting as an ambassador for equIP by attending external events and being proactive in the market
- Providing invaluable support to the Finance team to ensure a smooth billing process for members

About you 

The successful candidate will have a particular interest in working with startups and early stage businesses. They will have an excellent level of written and spoken English, a working knowledge of IT and a wide range of marketing and BD processes, as well as a high level of attention to detail. They will be methodical and organised in their approach, an energetic and resilient individual, who has a proactive ‘can do’ attitude, with a willingness to learn and develop. They will have demonstrated an ability to build strong working relationships with partners and staff at all levels, as well as with external vendors.
