About the Role

The CMS Insurance & Reinsurance Group are busy and continue to grow. They are looking to hire into London, solicitors with experience in claims involving construction professionals. The team handle a wide range of interesting matters and work with both Bristol and London partners.  Key areas of work include: (i) wide ranging professional indemnity disputes (particularly defending claims against the full range of construction professionals); (ii) supporting other areas of the firm with Construction PI issues; (iii) complex policy coverage matters. 
You will have the opportunity to work with an enviable client base, including many of the leading insurers and major brokers. The team are known for being highly commercial in their advice and offer the prospect of working closely with key clients, alongside being encouraged to develop your own contacts/network in the market.

About You

The right individual will have at least 2 years relevant experience in claims involving construction professionals gained at a City, insurance, major regional or leading international firm with strong experience handling clients in major insurance undertakings. 
We are particularly interested in individuals with experience of both defence and coverage work.
You will have excellent drafting skills and the ability to deliver practical and commercial advice.  Due to the role being client facing, you will need to have sound judgement and good interpersonal and project management skills.
