Would you like to lead an innovative commercial eLearning business and shape the way training is designed and delivered?

About the role

A highly established role for someone who is commercially adept, has strong client management experience as well as a deep understanding of eLearning development. Directly managing all business operation of this dynamic eLearning function, this individual will drive all business development activity to increase revenue as well as support all existing clients throughout their contract terms. 
The Head of eLearning has a unique position in the firm and is directly managed by the Senior Partner, who personally is responsible for the eLearning service provided. You will be:
- Shaping the eLearning strategy and keeping abreast on how our position remains unique
- Managing all commercial business activity, including running client meetings (face-to-face or remote), prospecting clients, preparing proposals and handling client negotiations leading to closing deals
- Project managing all eLearning client development projects
- Overseeing the creative design and development of eLearning and working with subject matter experts 
- Overseeing all marketing activity to raise awareness of eLearning both within the firm and externally via the Law-Now eLearning website
- Handling suppliers and managing all financial reporting 
This is a 9 - 12 months fixed term contract.

About you

Ideal candidates will have experience in commercial project management, business management and financial propositioning. You will also have worked within an eLearning development team and have experience of eLearning development through all stages of the lifecycle. Technical and creative experience is essential as well as experience with eLearning authoring tools / Learning Management Systems and SCORM.   
This role will be ideal for someone who is a self-starter, confident to hold their own in front of senior stakeholders and possesses a unique ability to transform complex requirements into simple and well executable eLearning solutions.
