We have a unique opportunity for a Legal Cashier to join our team based in Edinburgh.

About the role

The role is within our Finance team and the successful candidate will be working with the large team of Legal cashiers who deal with the day-to-day banking transactions for all offices within the UK.  The team consists of 18 Legal Cashiers who all work on various aspects of the client and office accounts.
The main responsibilities of the role will include:
• Managing Internal transfers between the client and office accounts
• Dealing with bank reconciliations
• Managing anticipated costs
• Monitoring various bank accounts for incoming funds
• Investigating and allocating funds correctly to firm’s invoices
• Taking credit card payments over the phone
• Dealing with queries over the phone from external contacts
• Dealing with mailbox queries
• Other adhoc duties
• Filing

About you

The ideal candidate will have:
• Knowledge of working in a legal cashroom would be an advantageous
• Good knowledge of Excel is essential
• Good working knowledge of Internet Banking systems 
Candidates should also have strong attention to detail, be a team player and have the abiilty work under presssure.
