About the role

At CMS, we have pursued a client-focussed strategy that has seen us grow into one of the largest global law firms by revenue and headcount.
Reporting to the Senior PR Manager, you will provide day-to-day support in the delivery of our PR and communications activities to help build and maintain a positive reputation of the firm and promote the expertise of our key sector and practice groups. In addition to supporting on the development and management of PR campaigns, you will be responsible for drafting award submissions and briefing documents as well as working with the social media manager to develop impactful content for our main social media channels that aligns with the firm’s strategic priorities. 
Sitting within the fast-paced communications department, you will be expected to roll up your sleeves and perform a range of tasks. You will be a trusted and active member of the wider communications function engaging with senior members within the firm and prepared to support other communications projects, including internal communications and social media, during busy periods.
  


About you

The ideal candidate will have had experience within a professional services or B2B environment, either from an agency or in-house background, ideally possessing sound knowledge of the media landscape. Previous PR / communications experience is desirable. Excellent written and verbal communications skills are essential. Due to the busy nature of the role, you will be expected to be a self-starter able to hit the ground running. You will need to be extremely well organised and have the ability to prioritise tasks when faced with conflicting deadlines.
