Process Analyst-Legal Projects 12 Month FTC
CMS is looking for a Process Analyst to join the Legal Operations and Project Management team on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. This is an exciting opportunity, working on a strategically important programme that will require you to work across the business.

About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled, commercially focussed Process Analyst with a strong track record in analysing workflows, mapping requirements, and interpreting and presenting data to join our team. This role requires a proactive individual with a proven ability to bring a range of skills to the role, including data analysis and insights, building dashboards (BI experience an advantage), and process mapping in a project and change management environment. You will work on a transformation programme, analysing both quantitative and qualitative data to understand complex processes, identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and clearly present these findings to the business. While your primary role will be as a Process Analyst, you must be willing to take on tasks outside your scope to support the project team in driving change and delivering effective solutions to the business.
Key responsibilities:
• Gather and document business requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Participate in workshops, to understand detailed business needs, issues, and capture information succinctly to feed into the project.
• Conduct process analysis and requirements mapping to support business transformation.
• Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business working practices.
• Document As-Is and To-Be processes to support workflow analysis and change plans.
• Interpret data trends from multiple data sets to develop solutions.
• Proactively anticipate and identify data needs to ensure project success.
• Deliver actionable insights and reports from detailed data analysis and modelling.
• Support the design of technical and process solutions that meet the business needs and programme objectives.
• Communicate clearly and persuasively with diverse stakeholders, tailoring messaging to align with their interests and objectives.
• Produce recommendations supported by captured and analysed data.
• Manage effective governance, and processes to ensure project success.
• Share best practice advice and technical knowledge support the programme.
About you
To excel in this role, you must demonstrate not only technical expertise but an understanding of project management skills and an ability to work effectively within a partnership culture. Key attributes and qualifications include:
• Experience in business analysis, particularly in change and transformation.
• Exceptional ability to build credible relationships at all levels of seniority and communicate with confidence to secure the necessary data for producing strong, data-driven results.
• Strong analytical and solution orientated mindset, capable of identifying innovative approaches to process improvement.
• Ability to translate analysis outcomes into clear and innovative visuals, suitable for presentation at all levels.
• Experience in working as part of a project team, with a strong understanding of how process analysis supports project goals.
• Knowledge of project and change management methodologies and tools.
• Confidence in presenting value, benefits, and results to improve engagement.
• Comfortable with ‘unknowns’ and assertive when necessary.
• A collaborative team player, invested in shared success, and confident in delivering under pressure.
• Highly organised, with a demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexible in traveling to other offices in the UK and potentially also in Europe.
