We are currently recruiting for a Scanning Operator to join our team! Reporting to the Scanning Manager and Team Leader, carry out all scanning related duties in line with operational procedures and pick up ownership for the service in the absence for the Scanning Manager and Team Leader.

Shift pattern: 09:00-17:30; Monday-Friday

About the Role

 •    To effectively process all the scanning requests through the area of the Scanning Centre which they are responsible for (basic and large format scanning - bibles, court bundles, media duplication and extraction, document manipulation, pagination, redaction, and encrypted USB creation 
•    To be proficient in the operation of scanning devices and software applications
•    Be able to relate accurate information to users on the progression of their work. When deadlines cannot be met, ensure user is informed within sufficient time. Offer alternative solutions when necessary 
•    To administer service calls for scanning equipment and escalate to the Team Leader where necessary 
•    To quality control finished scanning work ensuring any mistakes are corrected in line with user specification before delivery to the end user
•    Converting all file formats and ensuring the layout is retained on the final version
•    Be able to take on any task assigned by the Team Leader and see through to completion
•    Ensure that any issues are raised to the Team Leader
•    Work by own initiative and consistently deliver high quality services on time, with a focus on responsiveness, client satisfaction, effective client communication and client service orientation
•    Maintaining effective and collaborative communication with team colleagues
•    Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders


About you: 

•    Must have excellent MS Office skills
•    Must have good knowledge of PDF conversion software such as Adobe or pdfDocs
•    Excellent communicator and be able to build effective client relationships based on trust
•    Must have the ability to multi-task, as well as perform accurately under time pressures and constraints
•    Must show initiative and good judgment and be able to work independently
•    Must have the ability to concentrate in a busy working environment with multiple demands and distractions
•    Maintains exemplary attention to detail and a personal commitment to consistently producing high quality work
•    Must be able to maintain confidential information and work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
•    Always to treat colleagues with courtesy and respect 
•    Must be able to work independently and collaboratively
•    Prior experience in a legal environment is advantageous
