About the role

This is a unique opportunity to work with a truly market-leading Real Estate practice in a strategic business development and marketing role. The successful candidate will lead and support our Real Estate practice and sector groups on the planning and implementation of all business development (BD) initiatives, working in close coordination with the global Practice Group & Sector Marketing team.
About the practice/sector:
Our UK real estate team, with more than 90 partners and 300 lawyers, is the largest in any law firm, and is part of the largest Real Estate team in Europe. The practice includes teams working on real estate transactions, real estate disputes, and planning, and works closely together with our Funds & Indirect Real Assets team. Our Real Estate team has 21 Band/Tier 1 rankings in Chambers and Legal 500 directories across the UK and Europe. 
The practice is known for its thought leadership publications and creative events, and the successful candidate will play a leading role in conceptualising and developing all thought leadership publications and events, working with an enthusiastic team of partners and a small BD team dedicated to the practice.

About you

The successful candidate will have significant Marketing & BD experience within a professional services environment. Experience will include pitching, practice group and sector marketing, client targeting, campaign budgeting and budget management. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills (both written and spoken) and a demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with partners and staff at all levels within the firm and with external vendors.
You will also possess strong numerical skills, with the ability to present complex information and concepts in a clear and concise manner. Grasping, retaining and analysing complex information and concepts. A proactive can-do approach with a drive to support the growth of our business.
