About the role

CMS are seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to lead the Experienced Talent Acquisition team in all aspects of acquisition and on-boarding for fee earners, business services staff and lateral partner hires.

As a member of the Talent Acquisition Management Team you will work alongside the Early Talent Managers ensuring a shared strategy to achieve the highest standards of talent attraction and acquisition predominately across the UK with some exposure to our international offices.
Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition, you will work hand in hand to achieve and implement the Firm strategy for talent acquisition.
You will have responsibility for;

• Executing the strategy and direction for Experienced Talent Acquisition.
• Overseeing the end-to-end acquisition process for all hires through developing a successful and integrated acquisition team.
• Managing all lateral partner hire by working with Practice Groups Leads, advising on process, appointment of head hunters and leading on searches.
• Coordinating the Internal Partner Promotions process.
• Manage end to end activity for Head of/Director level appointments.
• Lead on existing projects including improvements to ATS/on-boarding platforms.
• Implementation and measurement of MI reports including service evaluation surveys.
• Development of attraction methods including Alumni/employee referrals.
• All elements of attraction and on-boarding.
• Working with the Head of Talent Acquisition and Early Talent Leadership team on branding and candidate engagement.
• Management of agency relationships.
• Coach team to ensure they are supported, able to manage their practice groups and business service areas effectively.
• Development of innovative and cost effective recruitment schemes and management of the budget associated, including measurement of cost per hire.


About you

We are looking for a highly skilled professional, ideally with experience of working in a law firm or other professional services environment at a managerial level. To be successful in this role you will need to have experience of managing partner level recruitment, lateral recruitment processes and teams as well as experience of extracting and evaluating MI Data in order to review and improve team performance. You will have experience in direct sourcing as well as exposure to leading on the implementation of innovative talent solutions. Sound judgement and ability to build relationships internally and externally.
