Business Administrator Apprentice (18 month FTC)

About the role
Working in our Business Development team in an administrative support role, you will gain an understanding of the variety of tasks that are undertaken to support fee earners in a busy law firm. To support your ongoing learning and development, you will undertake the Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship which is supported by our external training provider.
We have created this opportunity for individuals who:

have completed school education and would prefer to start their career;

would like to leave College earlier than planned to start their career yet must remain in education to undertake a qualification; or
-
are looking to embark on a new career but have zero experience in this field.
Our Business Administrator Apprenticeship Contract will give you the opportunity of gaining valuable on-the-job learning along with structured learning with a competitive salary. It is for a fixed period of 18 months. As an equal opportunities employer following that period you may be eligible to apply for other roles advertised in the business.
This role is 5 days a week in the office as all tasks undertaken in this role are purely office based.
During your apprenticeship you will become fully conversant in a variety of tasks which the wider team undertake. These tasks include but are not limited to:

Assisting with the formatting and amendment of client presentations and proposals.

Assisting with the formatting and amendment of internal team presentations and documents.

Coordinating meetings and appointments.

Supporting the team with pulling simple reports from our CRM system (Bridge) and formatting as appropriate.

Updating data records in Bridge as directed by members of the BD team.

Supporting with event-related administrative tasks.

Uploading and tagging staff photographs as well as helping to support photography sessions (e.g. booking rooms, updating the booking forms, etc.)

Providing general administrative support to the BD teams.
About you
We will invest in your ongoing training and development to support your professional goals and help you to thrive in your role from day one. Our opportunities are open to all suitably qualified applicants, so to be considered for this role, you must meet the following skills and experience:

3 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grade 4+ (A-C) and above in any subject.

GCSE Maths and English at grades 3+ (D or above).

Must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject.

Strong IT skills across major Microsoft Office applications.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – written and spoken.
-
Enthusiasm, prepared to take a hands on approach to managing their workload using their own initiative.

Excellent proven organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task and keep calm under pressure.

Team player with a positive attitude, willing to support the rest of the team.
